Greg has over 25 years of experience with governors and hydraulics, including years of service to Voith Hydro, RG Group (Hydraulic Integrator), American Governor Company, and now at the company he founded: Mercury Governor. Greg is responsible for designing, testing and commissioning all MGG digital governors and Hydraulic Power Units, and he designs and programs all the digital controllers and HMI interface systems. He has designed several new products for the company including a Universal EHI that fits any governor make or model and simplifies digital conversion. Greg is a contributing member of the IEEE 125 / 1207 Working Group and a regular contributor to hydro technical conferences.

As a professional engineer, Dan’s expertise is in the design of mechanical systems and electro-hydraulic control interfaces, digital controls upgrades and software, analog system components, and legacy mechanical governor support. Dan has worked for Emerson Electric as Director of Engineering and Production; twenty years with American Governor Company as VP of Engineering and Development; two years with GE Fanuc Automation as a Project Manager; four years with Woodward Governor Company as a Field Service/Commissioning Engineer; and five years as a Design Engineer for Lockheed Martin on the Space Shuttle Program.
